Daily living & companionship
Certified caregivers for the everyday help that keeps your parent home.
Certified nursing assistants and home health aides who handle the daily tasks that get harder with age — bathing, dressing, meals, medication reminders, and the company that makes a day feel normal.
What in-home caregivers do
A certified nursing assistant (CNA) or home health aide (HHA) is the backbone of most home-care plans. They help with the activities of daily living — the ordinary things that become difficult after a fall, a diagnosis, or simply with age — so your loved one can stay in their own home instead of moving to a facility.
- Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting with dignity
- Meal preparation and help with eating
- Mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
- Companionship and a watchful eye throughout the day
Screened, matched, and overseen
Every caregiver we refer is screened and background-checked before they ever reach your door, and matched to your family by our RN owner rather than assigned at random. Because an RN oversees the care, a caregiver who notices a change — a new ache, a skipped meal, a bruise — has a nurse to escalate it to right away.
From a few hours to around the clock. Caregivers are available part-time, full-time days, overnight, live-in, or 24/7 — and the schedule can flex as needs change.
How it's paid
In-home care is private pay — roughly $30 an hour in our area, depending on the level of care — or covered through a long-term care insurance policy, in which case we file the claims for you. Standard health insurance and Medicare do not cover this kind of daily-living help. See how long-term care insurance works →
